Bulletproof glass is glass that protects people and valuables inside from gun attacks. It absorbs powerful energy through the hardness of glass and the flexibility of resin, preventing bullet penetration. This powerful defensive capability is effective not only against bullets but also in preventing destructive intrusion using hammers or pickaxes. Since 1994, when we signed a license agreement with a U.S. bulletproof glass manufacturer, we have been designing and manufacturing bulletproof glass in-house based on that know-how. Nakajima Glass can respond to different defense levels and customer needs.
The defensive capability of bulletproof glass is often indicated by UL752 or NIJ-0108.01. Both are standards for bulletproof grades, but since the firing distance and number of shots differ, UL Level X cannot be equated to NIJ Level X. Please choose a product suitable for your anticipated situation.
