Self Clear is easy-to-maintain glass that leaves cleaning work to natural power through the effect of photocatalysis. Titanium oxide baked onto the glass surface decomposes dirt when exposed to ultraviolet light, and rainwater removes dirt through hydrophilic effect.
Variations
Hydrophilic effect: Self Clear forms a thin water film on the glass surface instead of water droplets due to the hydrophilicity of photocatalysis when moisture adheres, washing away dirt, and drying quickly without leaving water droplet marks even when dry.
