Insulating Glass Unit
LowE Insulating Glass Unit / LE Twin Glass

LE Twin Glass is a high-performance insulating glass that suppresses radiant heat transfer by applying a low-emissivity coating that reflects far‑infrared radiation to the glass used in Twin Glass. Compared with Twin Glass of the same thickness, it provides about 1.5 times higher thermal insulation performance.

The LowE glass used in LE Twin Glass also has the effect of blocking near‑infrared rays, providing solar shading. In particular, the solar‑shading type uses a heat‑absorbing coating to absorb solar energy and, together with the LowE effect, suppresses heat transfer into the room.
Thanks to its extremely high thermal insulation performance, LE Twin Glass more powerfully prevents condensation even in harsh environments where Twin Glass would start to condense.

Minimum dimensions: 180×350mm
Maximum dimensions: 2,400×3,200mm
Maximum weight: 350kg
Total thickness: 18–52mm
Performance can be further enhanced by combining with various laminated or tempered glass.
- The appearance of LowE glass differs between transmitted light and reflected light.
- In reflected light, slight color non‑uniformity may be visible as unevenness, but this does not affect performance.
- This product has a front and back side. Be sure to install it in the specified orientation.
- Because LowE glass has higher reflectance than ordinary glass, reflected images may appear more distorted.
- When constructed with wired or wired‑mesh glass, thermal breakage may occur. Please conduct sufficient study and take appropriate measures in advance.
- Please also refer to the precautions for Twin Glass in addition to the above.
