Tempered Glass

Tempered Glass / Tough Seifer

High StrengthSafety
High StrengthSafety

Tough Seifer has very high strength against bending and impact due to surface compressive stress. You can achieve the same wind pressure resistance as standard glass with approximately half the thickness.

Strength comparison: Standard glass 10,12mm vs Tempered glass 5,6mm

When damaged, it breaks into fine fragments, reducing secondary damage from glass fragments.

Breakage comparison - Sharp standard glass with large fragments vs Tempered glass breaking into small granular pieces

  • Cannot be cut or processed after manufacturing. Please order with accurate dimensions and shape.
  • Wired glass and wire-embedded glass cannot be processed. Some other types of glass also cannot be processed depending on the type.
  • Due to heat treatment effects, image distortion may occur compared to standard glass.
  • When damaged, the entire glass breaks into fine fragments. We recommend using window film or laminated glass as scattering prevention measures.
  • There is a risk of unexpected breakage regardless of external force due to growth of scratches caused by internal impurities.
