Tough Seifer is glass that has been strengthened by heating and rapid cooling, providing 3 times the wind pressure resistance compared to glass of the same thickness. By reducing glass thickness for required strength, benefits include weight reduction, compatibility with sash grooves, and improved transmittance.
Variations
In addition to standard glass, we also process patterned glass, heat-absorbing glass, and heat-reflective glass. (Some types of patterned glass and heat-reflective glass cannot be tempered.)
