Environmental Policy

Our company aims to contribute to the preservation of the global environment and society through the production of glass processing products, and we are committed to environmental conservation activities based on the following environmental policy.

  1. We recognize the impact of our business activities on the environment, promote prevention of environmental pollution according to that impact, and work toward continuous improvement of our EMS (Environmental Management System).
  2. We comply with environmental laws and regulations related to our business activities, as well as other requirements we agree to.
  3. We focus on the following items as priority areas for environmental conservation activities:

    『 Provision of Environmentally Friendly Products 』
  4. We set specific environmental objectives and targets for our priority environmental conservation activities, and regularly evaluate and review them.

Commitment to SDGs

In order to achieve a sustainable world, the "Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)" were adopted at the UN headquarters. Our company also supports the purpose of the SDGs, takes concrete action on what we can do now, and aims for the goals set forth by the SDGs.

Commitment to Significant Environmental Aspects

Our company aims to contribute to the preservation of the global environment and society through our business activities, and under our self-established environmental policy, we work on continuous environmental load reduction and environmental conservation activities.

  • For "electricity and LPG consumption," which we consider a significant environmental aspect, we will reduce the use of equipment power, air conditioning, etc., at both our headquarters and Kanto/Tohnosho Plant, and promote energy conservation.
  • For "expansion of sales of environmentally friendly products," which we consider a significant environmental aspect, we will work company-wide to increase CO2 reduction.
  • For "generation of glass waste," which we consider a significant environmental aspect, we will reduce waste by promoting defect reduction activities during manufacturing at both our headquarters and Kanto/Tohnosho Plant.
